An Insight Into Blues

On a recent Myers Briggs (Blue extroverts) site someone posted a question: What do you wish others understood about you? Here are some of their responses that are really worth reading AND remembering!

Ugh, this is hard. The thing is we’re not as demanding as most people are. We don’t even ask for anything. It’s up to you to figure out, lol.

Accepting and appreciating our help and generosity IS how we fell loved, so definitely do that. Also, pls ask how we’re doing and if we need any support. Don’t ask before putting in the work to show that you’re a stable presence in our lives or we will just lie and say we’re fine. You may have to ask multiple times before we admit that we need something. Pick up on the subtle expression bc I know I always downplay everything.

I’m not great at expressing my needs…it can run you down and into the ground. People sense that you’re strong but don’t realize you’re killing yourself to do it…

Don’t take advantage of my heart just because you probably can.

That we care is not weakness and our dark side is very bad…so don’t push us to the limit.

That we’re not really as strong as we seem…we need help.

My favorite people are the ones that can tell when my smile is fake. They ask what’s up and how they can help and give me a hug. Means the world.
